Point. Shoot. Done.
One photo. The AI reads the plate — portions calibrated against what’s in frame.
For people who lift
Scan any plate. Hit your protein. Earn calories back from training. Brasa tells you the truth about your food — even the cooking oil.
The scan
One photo. The AI reads the plate — portions calibrated against what’s in frame.
Every item gets a line — including the one nobody logs: the fat your food was cooked in.
“Good protein. The syrup is 104 empty calories — and it will say so.”

Every meal gets a score and a straight answer, not a gold star.
Protein first
Your protein target is calculated to keep the muscle you trained for — and it sits at the top of the dashboard, not three taps deep. Cut, maintain, or bulk: the plan follows your goal.

FAQ
Honest answer: it’s an estimate — every food scan on earth is. Brasa is built around that truth instead of hiding it: portions are calibrated against objects in frame, hidden calories like cooking oil get their own line, and if the AI misjudged your portion you fix it with one drag of the slider and everything recalculates. No tracker gives you lab numbers from a photo; Brasa gives you the most honest usable number and the tools to correct it.
Three days of everything, free. We send you a reminder the day before it converts — if it’s not for you, cancel in your App Store settings and you pay nothing. No tricks, no hidden lock-in.
Through Apple, like every subscription: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Brasa. Cancelling stops the renewal; you keep access until the period ends. Refunds are handled by Apple through reportaproblem.apple.com.
Yes — the AI is trained on international cuisine, not just chicken and rice. Arepas, bibimbap, feijoada, tagine, tamales, katsu curry: it knows the typical recipes, not just the names. It ships in English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese and Simplified Chinese.
It tells you. Brasa refuses to invent a meal from your desk or your dog — you get a “that’s not food” card and one tap to try again. Same for bloodwork: upload a random PDF and it will say it isn’t a lab report.
They’re sent to our AI providers solely to produce your estimate, are not used to train models, and are not retained beyond processing. Your logs live on your device first, mirrored to your account for backup.
No — Brasa works anonymously from the first scan. When you want your data to survive a lost or new iPhone, link your Apple ID with one tap (Settings → Secure my account). We never ask for passwords.
Yes. Bloodwork values stay in your account, are never sold, and are never shared with advertisers. Health figures are informational, not medical advice — out-of-range values always come with “talk to a professional.”
Resting heart-rate sync is built and arrives in the first update after launch (it needs its own Apple review cycle).
Not yet. Brasa is iPhone-native (iOS 17+). If the lifters demand it loudly enough, we’ll listen.
Brasa is the Spanish/Portuguese word for ember — the heat that actually cooks. Less fire show, more heat. That’s the whole product philosophy.
