1. The service. Brasa (“the app”, “we”) is a nutrition tracking app. Calorie, macro and health figures are AI-generated estimates from photos, descriptions, barcodes or databases. They are informational only and can be wrong. Brasa is not a medical device and is never a substitute for professional medical, nutritional or training advice.
2. Your responsibility. You are responsible for the food and health decisions you make. If you have a medical condition, a history of disordered eating, or specific dietary requirements, consult a professional before acting on anything Brasa shows you. Brasa is intended for users 13 and older.
3. Accounts. You may use Brasa anonymously or link an account with Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for keeping access to your device and account secure. You can delete your account and data at any time from Settings; deletion is permanent.
4. Subscriptions. Paid features (“Brasa Pro”) are billed through your Apple ID. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled in your App Store settings at least 24 hours before the period ends. Free-trial periods convert to paid automatically unless cancelled before they end; we send a courtesy reminder but the responsibility to cancel is yours. Prices may vary by region and can change with notice. Refunds are handled exclusively by Apple.
5. Acceptable use. Do not abuse the service, attempt to reverse engineer it, resell access, or use it to build a competing dataset. Recipe and content libraries are for personal use.
6. Intellectual property. The app, its brand, content and design are ours or licensed to us. You keep all rights to the photos and data you submit; you grant us the limited license needed to process them into your results.
7. Liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Brasa is provided “as is” without warranties. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for decisions made based on AI estimates.
8. Changes. We may update these terms; material changes will be shown in the app or on this page. Continued use means acceptance.
